We're at the Hoy house in Tampa making a few modifications to the bus before we begin our adventure. Part of the modifications include adding a heat exchanger, a heated fuel pick up, and wrapping the fuel and coolant lines to ensure we'll be able to make it through some of the colder legs of our journey this winter season. Veggie-oil is more viscous than diesel gasoline, so cold weather can cause the oil to thicken and congeal
Our plan is to finish up fixing the bus today, leave tomorrow--Saturday Dec. 29th--in the late morning, and arrive at Katie's aunt's place in Gautier, Mississippi by early Sunday evening.
Wish us luck!
